Legal Assistance

  • Offer from $500-$3,000 based on continuous years as member
  • Reimbursed members a total of $9,800 for legal expenses over the last five years
  • Consulted with four members during this past fiscal year

Committee Representation

  • Placed DASA members on the Assessment Review Committee, Government Review Committees and Professional Standards Board
  • Met with Governor’s Transition Team and attended DSEA’s interviews with gubernatorial candidates
  • Represent DASA membership at Chiefs’, Human Resources & Business Managers’ meetings
  • Attend State Board of Education meetings

Recognition Programs

  • Coordinated the elementary, middle school and secondary school principal of the year awards as well as superintendent of the year program
  • Arranged principals recognition day in November
  • Obtained photo shoot with Governor Minner and State Principals of the Year
  • Initiated Non-Instructional Administrator of the Year Awards
